Drees & Sommer has acquired a five percent share in the PropTech company Architrave. Architrave is a leading provider in the field of digital property management. The company uses future technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and advocates universal standards throughout the industry.
The goal is to create an asset management platform which can be used to manage all documents, data and processes in the real estate value creation chain. Shareholders are Drees & Sommer and several other market players, such as Union Investment, Deka, BitStone and PropTech1.
‘With our comprehensive digital strategy we can make a major contribution to creating a holistic ecosystem for the German real estate sector. Architrave is best equipped to implement this,’ said Drees & Sommer Executive Board Member Steffen Szeidl in his comments on the investment.

He added that because of the involvement of Drees & Sommer his company now not only has access to additional expertise for product development, but also to valuable insights into the industry. The company is thus working towards the goal of collaborating with the industry and supporting the industry in order to establish Architrave as a central industry platform for all stakeholders.
