A new urban district of some 85,000 m² is being built on the site of the former freight yard in Tübingen. The precinct is south of the Neckar River in the immediate vicinity of the city center. Two residential and commercial buildings, each with an underground car park, are being built on the centrally located building sites Courtyard 2 and Courtyard 4. The four- to six-storey buildings with staggered storeys are grouped around noise-protectedcourtyards with private and communal open spaces.
Courtyard 2 was handed over on schedule after successful completion, followed by handover of Courtyard 4 to the client just under half a year later.
