On the existing Konrad Adenauer Building (KAD) from the 1980s with a gross floor area of approx. 65,000 m², the European Parliament is constructing a new building complex to eventually have a gross floor area of approx. 253,000 m² to accommodate all its staff in Luxembourg.

The building complex will make it possible to bring together 3,000 employees in the various interconnected buildings to ensure integrated functionality between all departments.
