Valley Amsterdam

Valley is an eye-catching landmark on Amsterdam's southern axis. The iconic multi-purpose building is made up of three towers, measuring 103, 80, and 70 meters in height. The towers are connected by an irregularly shaped, green “valley” of stepped terraces. The project is not only visually impressive but also a strong example of greening an urban environment. Developer EDGE blends urban living with the natural materials, spacious terraces, and water features. The central valley on the fourth and fifth floors is open to the public.

Beneath the towers, a three-level underground parking garage provides space for 375 vehicles. The ground floor and the next seven floors are home to offices, restaurants, retail stores, (cultural) facilities, and bicycle storage, as well as entrances to the residential towers. Residential apartments begin on the eighth floor, with a total of 200 luxury units with premium finishes.

EDGE enlisted Drees & Sommer to support project management in the lead-up to Valley's handover. During the final year, our senior project manager played a key role in implementing last-minute plan adjustments, overseeing preliminary inspections and approvals, and coordinating the transfer of the 200 apartments to their new owners.
