The Central Axis "Nordstad" stretches along the thoroughfare "Route d'Ettelbruck" from the commune of Erpeldingen to the entrance of the commune of Diekirch. The entire area is located in the Ingeldorf part and offers a potential development area of 28.2 ha, which is to be promoted and developed in the medium to long term. After the preparation of a development concept and a business plan, the focus area "Accès Walebroch" (8.1 ha) was identified, where preparations for the future development plan are being made.
