BLS is planning to build a new light maintenance workshop in the Chliforst area of western Berne on the Bern - Neuchâtel railway line, which is scheduled to go into operation in 2025.
The study contract "BLS Werkstätte Chliforst Nord" is a non-anonymous competition procedure. In the prequalification phase, five teams from a total of 18 were selected for further processing.
The schedule for commissioning the plant requires that at the end of the study contract the architectural, landscape planning, technical and economic framework conditions are in place to such an extent that, following the study contract, work on the construction project can begin immediately.
