With the new Campus Biel/Bienne (CBB) building, Bern University of Applied Sciences is planning to merge the two departments of Architecture, Wood and Civil Engineering (AHB) and Engineering and Information Technology (TI) at one location. The new building will be occupied in 2021. As part of this project, a CAFM system was to be procured to further professionalise the FM services. Drees & Sommer Switzerland was commissioned to draw up the requirements for this CAFM system with the project team, to manage the procurement process and to accompany the implementation.

  • Development of a catalogue of requirements with the project team, based on standards (GEFMA 440)

  • Development of CAFM concept as a basis for implementation with detailed role descriptions and formulation of the complex processes
