NUON ENERGY (now Vattenfall Nederland) had chosen the New Amsterdam building as its new location. Between 2013 and 2014, 30,000 square meters of high-quality gross office space was fitted out at this location with a focus on sustainability (the building was certified BREEAM Very Good), an innovative workplace concept and a high-quality indoor climate. During that period, Drees & Sommer was responsible, on behalf of NUON ENERGY, for the integration of interior design, the technical program of requirements, planning, budget control and quality control of the entire renovation process.
