In Hamburg, sustainability is one of the top topics. On 6 September, we will show in Hamburg how networked urbanity works in the smart city of tomorrow.
Our speakers and participants will talk about concrete problems and provide insights into individual, but also feasible and economic solutions.
At the Hammerbrooklyn DigitalCampus, participants will exchange ideas on business, urban development, mobility, work, housing, trade and Industry 4.0 in an innovative working environment and bring the city of the future to life.
Visions for Hamburg: How does sustainable urban development work?
Drees & Sommer will be present in Hammerbrooklyn with the Smart City Demonstrator. This has created a platform for knowledge about smart cities, bringing together property owners, planners, the public sector, developers, researchers and providers of smart city solutions. Sustainable urban development works through a holistic approach! The Smart City Demonstrator demonstrates precisely this and puts it into practice in workshops. Drees & Sommer uses the demonstrator to identify smart potential in projects together with clients and can thus provide targeted advice. The members of the Smart City Demonstrator will be part of the event with their smart solutions for neighbourhoods.
Sustainable and connected urbanity in the Smart City of tomorrow
Cities and neighbourhoods are confronted with challenges that they can only influence to a limited extent with traditional planning methods. These range from climate change and air pollution to the threat of traffic collapse and the isolation of people in anonymous urban environments. Planning and operating a smart city is a collaborative task. Only when professionals from different disciplines work together is it possible to define precise goals and properly coordinate individual solutions along the way. The Real Estate Impulse is intended to stimulate reflection on the overall social goals of urban planning, to identify strategies and define indicators that form the basis for reliable assessments and appropriate smart solutions.
