On November 11, 2026, industry professionals will gather at the Logistics Real Estate Day at the Tagungswerk in Berlin. The event will focus on current developments and future prospects in logistics real estate: from land availability, energy supply, and regulatory requirements to rising construction costs and new opportunities for use and growth. The event will also address the impact of geopolitical developments, the revitalization of existing properties, and the role of modern logistics sites as multifunctional infrastructure and energy hubs.
Two experts from Drees & Sommer will participate in the program: Thoralf Krause, Global Head of Logistics, will moderate the panel discussion “Full Warehouses, Empty Lines: Energy Availability as a Location Factor.” In addition, Marco Albrecht, Head of Smart Charging, will provide insights into the practical implementation of a sustainable charging infrastructure in his keynote presentation titled “Electrification in Practice: Success Factors for Building Truck Charging Infrastructure.”
