macomGROUP is now part of Drees & Sommer SE

Since January 24, 2023, the Stuttgart-based media technology and IT specialist macomGROUP has been a 100-percent subsidiary of international construction and real estate company Drees & Sommer SE. This further enhances Drees & Sommer’s digital expertise, as macom has established itself as the leading consulting and engineering company in Europe for high-quality media technology & IT solutions for hybrid work, learning, brand and retail spaces. The two companies have long been working closely together in a strategic partnership.

Founded in 2003, macom has developed into Europe’s leading service provider for media technology, IT planning, and technology consulting for digital transformation.  With an over 80-strong team of engineers and consultants, it supports numerous medium-sized enterprises and DAX companies as well as public institutions – including BMW, Fresenius, Schüco, STIHL, Beiersdorf and various European Union organizations – with the development of digital strategies and audiovisual and IT solutions. Headquartered in Stuttgart, the company has branch offices in Berlin, Eislingen/Fils, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich and London. The Eislingen regional office also features a custom-built, state-of-the-art media technology and digital laboratory with an area of more than 400 square meters. Engineers share the macomLAB with customers, research partners and manufacturers to develop and test solutions for hybrid work, learning, brand and retail spaces.
