8,883 m² of office space over 6 floors: TOG The Office Group GmbH is opening a new work space in Berlin. Known as the Pressehaus Podium, the annex to the historic Berlin publishing house on Alexanderplatz is TOG’s largest work space in Germany and has a number of highlights to offer.

Particularly impressive are the huge ‘street-to-sky’ windows, which offer expansive views over the east central Berlin. Inspired by the traditions of the Press and Media Center, the building offers flexible and adaptable office premises – from open spaces to one-person offices and generously dimensioned meeting rooms.

The co-working area and lounge are perfect for collaborative work. And there is no shortage of facilities for fitness, balance, and relaxation, with a café, gym with peloton bikes, showers and changing rooms, kitchens, rest cabins, an outdoor terrace and ample bike storage.

The interior of the building is also eye-catching, with elaborate wooden furniture and timber kitchens. And there is even a sky lounge on the 5th floor offering panoramic views of the city.

The new Pressehaus Podium work space is TOG’s third property in Berlin – after Linden Palais and Kontorhaus – and the fifth in Germany. With modern and flexible fitout, it offers an ideal working environment for companies and individuals looking for an inspiring high-end work environment.

Drees & Sommer supported the customer in meeting their high quality standards. The company’s experts were involved in the invitation to tender and contract award, were responsible for overall quality assurance for cost groups 300 and 400, and also provided consulting on the general contractor services. Digital defect management coupled with the Drees & Sommer colleagues’ many years of experience, ensured the successful opening of the work space.
