Tech Meetup premiere: The "City of the Future" needs cross-sector mobility concepts

Around 300 people interested in technology and real estate followed the first Tech Meetup "City of the Future" #Mobility on January 28, 2021 with top speakers from TESLA, Flixbus, Bosch Mobility and Lilium Aviation.

All stakeholders need to network and collaborate even more in order to jointly create a sustainable and livable city of the future - in this respect, all experts agreed. "Electromobility is an opportunity for the real estate industry," said Malte Kendel, Senior Project & Business Developer, Tesla.

At the first event in the Drees & Sommer "City of the Future" event series on January 28, 2021, everything revolved around mobility - and its connection with the topics of real estate and urban development. Participants included Daniel Krauss, Founder & CIO Flixbus, Dr. Bernd Heinrichs, Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer Mobility at Bosch Mobility, Malte Kendel, Senior Project & Business Developer at TESLA, Will Earle, Vice President Launch at Lilium, and Steffen Szeidl, CEO at Drees & Sommer.

Keynote speeches with exciting insights into innovative mobility topics that the companies are working on were followed by a discussion round. Many participants also took advantage of the subsequent opportunity for digital networking.

In the following events of the "Tech Meetup" event series, Drees & Sommer will again bring together relevant stakeholders to promote a cross-sector exchange on the "City of the Future".
