XXL Logistics Center in the Netherlands – First implementation phase successfully completed

Construction is progressing on the XXL Logistics Center in the Dutch city of Rosendaal in Westbrabant, in the midst of Majoppeveld Noord industrial park. The first 50.000 m2 of the 120.000 m2 distribution center on Campus 58 has now been completed to the satisfaction of the client, LCP (Logistics Capital Partners).

The logistics center in one of the most important logistics hubs in Europe is an excellent location for distribution to the Benelux countries thanks to its strategic position between the ports of Antwerp and Rotterdam, as well as the direct motorway connections to Belgium. The companies located here have access to 170 million customers within a 300 kilometer radius. The construction of the XXL Logistics Center is being carried out by Bouwbedrijf Vrolijk BV.

Drees & Sommer selected the contractor for LCP and is responsible for monitoring the project contents and costs. Amanda Verschuur, Project Manager at Drees & Sommer Netherlands: “The pressure on planning is a welcome, ongoing challenge due to the strict technical requirements for this new building complex.”
