© Max RadloffGreener than green, ALB FILS KLINIKUM is one of the newest buildings in Göppingen and one of Germany’s most modern and sustainable hospitals. Spread over nine floors, this impressive facility offers 645 beds, including 43 intensive care beds, and combines state-of-the-art medical technology with an innovative, patient-first design.
Energy-efficient technology, sustainable construction materials, and regional value creation formed the basis of this project, leading the hospital to receive a DGNB Gold Pre-Certification during the planning phase.
Driving Sustainable Hospital Operations
Drees & Sommer supports the project with comprehensive commissioning management and coordination from planning through operations, along with process documentation. Two years of technical monitoring help the hospital achieve its sustainability goals while supporting ongoing operations. At the same time, our team coordinates complex building systems, energy supply, medical technology, and IT infrastructure.
