At almost 400,000 square meters, AVIAPARK is the largest shopping and leisure complex in Europe. It was built on the grounds of a former military airfield in northwestern Moscow in just two years. Drees & Sommer managed the project and undertook client representation. As client representatives and project controllers, the specialists had the task of ensuring that the complex opened on schedule. The team also undertook the securing of planning approval, construction supervision and tenant coordination.
