German Haus is a pioneering premium grade office tower in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City. The 25-storey building consists of 28.000 net square meters of prime office real estate. The building is home to the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany making it a destination for German companies and promoting German-Vietnamese relations.
In close cooperation with gmp architects, Drees & Sommer developed the building envelope as an outside ventilated double skin curtain wall system, the first one ever build in Vietnam. Our team of engineers accompanied the project throughout all project phases, including supervision of mock-up, workshop and construction site quality.
Deutsches Haus in Ho Chi Minh City is one of our Wall of Fame projects. These are projects that we are particularly proud of. They have not only helped our respective clients, but also us as a company.
Why Deutsches Haus in Vietnam deserves a place on our Wall of Fame:
- Façade construction: The double-skin façade construction combines comfort, sun protection, aesthetics, and energy efficiency and is adapted to the climatic conditions in Vietnam.
- Home for German-Vietnamese relations: Deutsches Haus offers German companies a destination in Vietnam, so it has the potential to promote German-Vietnamese relations.
- International project in southeast Asia: The project required good international co-operation. It was carried out as part of a strategic partnership between Vietnam and Germany with the involvement of the Federal Foreign Office.
