From 2015 to 2018, Automobili Lamborghini SpA expanded its historical site in SantʼAgata Bolognese to produce a new model: the Urus SUV.  

The construction work on the factory site included constructing new factory halls and an office building, as well as converting and expanding the pilot hall. The existing plant was also remodeled during ongoing production. In addition to developing a new model series, the client also wanted to increase its research and development capacities. 

Drees & Sommer’s automotive specialists managed to commission production on time and do so smoothly the whole way. A key success factor was how they coordinated the complex interfaces between construction infrastructure and plant technology.
