A hotel for the Motel One chain designed by renowned architectural office Lederer Ragnarsdóttir Oei is being built on the former site of the EnBW headquarters near Stuttgart Central Station. The building will have six floors and about 400 rooms, as well as an underground car park with 150 parking spaces. The structural integration of the established building dating back to 1996 – also designed by LRO – represents a special challenge. The new building will have a dark brick facade resembling that of the established building.
