New fire station building, Weinsberg
Drees & Sommer provides support with planning and construction, ensuring that the project stays within budget.
A state-of-the-art fire station has been built to meet future requirements. A new base for the volunteer fire department has been built in Weinsberg to meet the structural and functional requirements of a modern fire station.
Following an intensive planning and construction phase, the firefighters began operating from their new base at the start of 2025. The building offers functional, modern infrastructure and optimal conditions for the training, practice and deployment of the volunteer emergency services.
A modern location for equipment and vehicles.
DaThe fire station is equipped with the latest technology. It has a vehicle hall with 14 parking spaces, a wash hall, workshops and storage rooms, and can accommodate 100 active firefighters. The alarm and training yard features a 15-metre training tower.
In addition to the construction itself, which involved challenging foundations requiring more than 400 piles, Drees & Sommer experts are supporting the customer primarily with the project's complex contractual situations.
