Project steering – CERMcity

A project syndicate associated with RWTH Aachen University, supported by grants from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), worked from 2016 to 2019 to construct a test complex that is unique in Germany – CERMcity, Center for European Research on Mobility – which supplements the existing test track elements of the Aldenhoven Testing Center with which it is organizationally and spatially integrated. This will enable validation scenarios to be implemented on highways, country roads and in downtown environments.
