The operating centre was integrated into the Schleswig-Holstein University Clinic on the Kiel Campus with eight operating theatres, an interdisciplinary ward, intermediate care unit and eleven rooms prepared with wet rooms.
The new building is linked to the surgical building and gynaecological department and enables efficient operating procedures. A total of 148 patient beds are available over four floors.
