The new restaurant of TRUMPF Werkzeugmaschinenfabrik GmbH is part of the company’s master plan for the Ditzingen site. The highlight of the building is the honeycomb-shaped roof construction made of laminated timber trusses, which seems to float above the company restaurant with only a few support columns.

In 2011, the company restaurant was awarded the (National) Hugo Häring Prize by the Association of German Architects BDA. A year later, it received the BDA’s Hugo Häring State Prize.
