Vorwerk International & Co. KmG is planning to replace the property currently housing its headquarters in the Swiss municipality of Wollerau with a new building that meets the changed requirements of the company and allows for growth. Drees & Sommer was commissioned from the start of the project, in 2014, to carry out the user requirements analysis and draw up the space allocation plan. This gave rise to a state-of-the-art, flexible office concept that complies with the corporate design as set out in the company’s guidelines and includes the planning of the furnishings. The concept combines functionality and human appeal. The outdoor area – comprising the company’s own garden and roof terraces – was also redesigned as part of the project, which included the planning of the temporary space in the surrounding area.
