Office Buildings

Zühlke Engineering Scrum Tower, Schlieren (Canton of Zurich)

Client

Zühlke Engineering, Schlieren

Project duration

2011 - 2012

GFA

1,000 m²

Following a feasibility study at the main building in Schlieren, Zühlke Engineering decided to rent new space for approximately 60 employees nearby. The optimum solution was found on the 5th and 6th floors of the Zühlke Tower. With its quiet zones and meeting areas, the new, open-plan office layout adapts to the employees’ way of working (scrum teams). The aim was to achieve high acceptance among all those involved and ensure identification with the way in which the new space is used. Furthermore, the newly developed workspace concept was to be trialed as a pilot for the future headquarters.

A project of RBSGROUP, a 100% shareholding of the Drees & Sommer Group since 1 May 2015.
