Using digital tools in the healthcare sector

Leveraging digital tools

Our specialists are not only very familiar with your core business and the processes in the healthcare sector, they are also very familiar with project- and industry-specific methods and tools. Digital methods and visualization tools such as building information modeling (BIM), virtual reality, or BIM to FM offer starting points for making the planning of complex projects transparent for all parties involved

By integrating all stakeholders in customised processes from requirements management to project planning and commissioning, planning efficiency, quality and reliability are increased. Building owners can keep an eye on all relevant information throughout the entire life cycle of a building thanks to continuous data preparation.

It all starts with the data strategy

In order not to be overwhelmed by the flood of data in the later operational phase and not to have to maintain too much data, it is important to define the right data in the right format. When developing the data strategy, the relevant data, its scope and form are defined from an operational perspective and requirements for the data interfaces are derived from this during the project. The data catalogue serves as a template for implementing the "building data" in the "operational" CAFM system.

Added value through the use of BIM

Building Information Modelling (BIM) promotes networked collaboration in the property sector by linking processes, products and stakeholders. Building Information Modelling bundles all the relevant data of a construction project and thus supports the structured implementation and management of healthcare buildings. Whereas architects or engineers previously had to create their own plans and obtain information about every change, no matter how small, separately, with BIM all information is stored in a digital model. This creates a digital twin of the future building with a great depth of detail.

Virtual reality opens up new worlds

The consistent expansion of the BIM planning methodology opens up new virtual planning worlds and possibilities via the 3D model. We model your business processes in virtual reality in your future building. We integrate your medical equipment (SKP7+8) "at the touch of a button", so to speak, allowing you to immediately test it interactively with the users and adapt it if necessary. This allows you to test and optimise relevant operating processes from the core business and cross-sectional functions in advance and validate your design and planning.

BIM2CAFM - utilising data in operations

The planning of new buildings using BIM-based planning methods opens up new possibilities for owners, users and future FM operators. The main focus here is on structuring and transferring operationally relevant information and data from project planning and realisation to building operation. This offers significant added value, especially when considering the entire life cycle of a property. We would be happy to advise you.
