Transparent sustainability: Drees & Sommer publishes ESRS Report

We make sustainability transparent and tangible. With its 2024 Sustainability Report, Drees & Sommer is voluntarily presenting its first report in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS)—well ahead of any legal requirement.
For clients, this means reliable, audited, and comparable data on which to base decisions. The report provides comprehensive information on important subjects such as greenhouse gas emissions, decarbonization, and resource use, as well as working conditions, employee development, and corporate management and governance.
Although Drees & Sommer is not yet subject to reporting requirements, the company is aligning its processes with the upcoming EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) requirements. The goal is to ensure transparency and data quality at an early stage.
At the same time, the report maintains and integrates the proven standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) via a separate index for maximum traceability.
Sustainability is firmly embedded in Drees & Sommer’s corporate strategy. As we strive to become a Beneficial Company, sustainability shapes our decisions and activities, both within the company and in our interactions with external stakeholders. The report highlights our dedication to achieving economic success while embracing environmental and social responsibility.
