In future, the company will support Berlin-based HOWOGE with major urban development projects focusing on the development of sustainable, livable districts.

The housing experts from Drees & Sommer have won a HOWOGE framework agreement tender with their concept for and implementation of future district developments. The company’s case study played a decisive role in the contract award. In it, the interdisciplinary team presented a holistic analysis and concept for district development. The approach focused on users, as well as current urban development topics such as climate protection, infrastructure and mobility.

Key goal: Having a positive impact on the neighborhood

The whole project aims ^{Im Original 3x Fokus nacheinander...} to achieve a positive impact on the neighborhood and the development of vibrant, inclusive and livable urban districts. Drees & Sommer is able to provide all the necessary service elements in-house. During the award process, Drees & Sommer identified the necessary measures and project potential based on the analysis of such topics as transport infrastructure and outdoor space, supply infrastructure and social infrastructure.
