The German capital will soon have one more innovative building. From 2016 the first almost entirely energy self-sufficient multifamily residential building will be constructed as part of a rehabilitation program. The property in the Lankwitz district dates back to 1954 and is in need of rehabilitation. From 2017 the building will produce and store its own energy (heat, electricity). Drees & Sommer ensured rigorous processes and future-safe technologies.
