As part of a newly developed scope of services, the experts at Drees & Sommer created a comprehensive future-oriented concept for sustainable and climate-friendly water supply for the municipality of Emmerthal.

The goal of the project was to ensure long-term water supply security while also optimizing energy efficiency.

The concept is divided into two key components:

  1. Comprehensive Baseline Assessment and Potential Analysis
In the first step, the team systematically gathered and analyzed all relevant baseline data. Based on this, they conducted a detailed potential analysis, from which concrete optimization measures were derived. These measures were compiled into a structured implementation roadmap, serving as a practical decision-making tool.
  2. Evaluation of Alternative Supply Options
In addition, Drees & Sommer examined alternative supply options to ensure long-term supply security in the face of future climatic and infrastructural challenges.
