Drees & Sommer secures project goals and high standards for the client
A commercial park of strategic importance is being developed in the heart of the Leipzig metropolitan region. With an area of almost 28 hectares, 114,000 square meters of rental space, three modern halls, and numerous jobs, it offers large companies an attractive base for innovation and expansion. Thanks to its location in the immediate vicinity of well-known corporations such as BMW, Porsche, and Amazon, the park is providing impetus for economic development in eastern Germany.
The project is being realized by Hines, a leading global real estate investment company. Drees & Sommer is supporting Hines in this project. The business park is designed to meet sustainable building criteria in accordance with the guidelines for logistics properties (Logix(i)) and to receive platinum certification from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). The client also aims to meet the requirements of the EU taxonomy for new buildings.
