JAGUAR LAND ROVER STATEMENT SITE, MUNICH SOUTH

Client

Jaguar Land Rover Deutschland GmbH

Location

Munich, Germany

Architect

Hamacher, Daub & Partner, Cologne

Project duration

January 2016 – July 2019

Built on a site of around 20,000 m² in Drygalski-Allee in Munich, the prestigious new Jaguar Land Rover statement site is a flagship project that reflects the brand experience of the British company with exclusive modern architectural design. More than 100 vehicles can be viewed in the exhibition space – either in the building with its all-glass facade or in the outdoor area, which also offers ample parking. As an exemplary digital ‘car dealership of the future’, the building features state-of-the-art building systems and, to round out the superlatives, an event area on the roof. Three green walls inside the Jaguar Land Rover Statement Site – with 300 m2 of plants – ensure a perfect indoor climate. In addition, the water is purified in a treatment plant.

The entire complex is certified according to BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) – a British sustainability certificate for real estate. Using a simple points system with eight assessment categories, BREEAM awards a seal of quality in one of four levels. The criteria take into account overall impacts at the global, regional, local and domestic levels.

  • Quality assurance to meet the high sustainability standard required of the building
  • On-schedule completion while meeting the challenges of certification

Service elements

  • Invitation to tender and contract award
