Mission Charlottenburg is a go, and the countdown has started. San Francisco-based Planet Labs will soon develop, manufacture, and test its satellites and telescopes at its first German facility in Berlin. The company uses state-of-the-art technology to capture images of the Earth, providing vital data for science, environmental protection, and disaster relief.

The new 5,000-square-meter facility features high-tech workspaces tailored specifically for satellite manufacturing, including ISO Class 6 and 7 cleanrooms. Planet Labs is leveraging these new lab and office spaces to launch flexible, future-ready satellite production and strengthen its overall European footprint.
