Police operations center, Murnau
New indoor shooting range and rooms for police training successfully completed
Hidden between bricks and concrete are rooms for critical scenarios, emergencies, and their preparations. The new police training center in Murnau opens its doors daily for practical operational training. On the ground floor, group rooms invite discussion, and the multifunctional training room becomes a stage for realistic operational scenarios. The soundproof design of the 25-meter-long shooting range allows for concentration and precision during preparation. Upstairs, there is a martial arts room where police officers can train.
From design to operational readiness
Drees & Sommer revised the original design. The team supported the approval planning and implementation planning. The experts paid particular attention to functional clarity, technical equipment, and design quality. The aim was to create a building that meets the high demands of police training practices.
