S- Finance Campus Kasseler Sparkasse

New headquarters for Kasseler Sparkasse completed – with efficient use of space and a working environment of the future 

The eight-story new building stands out in downtown Kassel. Around 500 people work at the S-Finance Campus, the new headquarters of Kasseler Sparkasse. According to the company, it is the largest and most modern savings bank branch in Germany and combines various activities. This has reduced the surplus space in the city center by almost half.  

Address for a new working environment: From employees in the specialist departments to the executive board, everyone works in multi-space offices. The separately accessible rooms for customers, events, and exhibitions can be used in a variety of ways thanks to electrically movable glass and partition walls.

The Drees & Sommer team supported Kasseler Sparkasse in project management and provided technical advice. The team mastered a number of special challenges, including a construction site in the city center that lasted several years and the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and the war in Ukraine on the project.
