Along with its subsidiary “Next IT Services” in Sofia, Die Werkbank provides solutions for the digitization of processes in the planning, construction, and operation of buildings. For example, the product “BIM & More” gives planners access to up-to-date product information from manufacturers as a BIM plugin.

“With this takeover, we are securing valuable know-how and development capacity for the digitization of processes in the construction and real estate industries,” says Patrick Theis, Partner at Drees & Sommer SE. “The joint configurator platform v.create emerged from previous collaboration between Drees & Sommer and Die Werkbank over the last year and a half.” With this tool, customers are able to productively configure office spaces and walk through them virtually.
