"The 1970s have called, they want their high-rise building back!" At first glance, this may seem true. The façade of the 110-metre-high Global Tower is an authentic reproduction of the original building from 1974 and has been designed in line with conservation guidelines. Technically, however, the former Commerzbank headquarters is state-of-the-art: project developer Branicks Group, together with SICORE Real Assets (formerly HANSAINVEST Real Assets), has created ultra-modern and flexible office spaces. They not only meet the needs of the future world of work, but also fulfill the highest sustainability standards with a DGNB Platinum pre-certificate.

Efficient tenant acquisition through a modular concept

Drees & Sommer supported the revitalization of the Global Tower with various services. The experts successfully steered the project to the finish line in terms of costs, deadlines and quality. They also managed a total of 14 tenants for the landlord, including companies from the technology, financial services, market research and data center sectors. Thanks to a modular concept, Drees & Sommer quickly implemented the entire tenant acquisition process - from the first inspection with interested parties to the handover of the finished rental space.

With technical advice, the experts strengthened the role of the landlord in the negotiations. A transparent and agile market approach also shortened the conversion times. The team succeeded in handing over all the office space in the multi-tenant building on schedule.
