A sustainable future can only be achieved together: innovation drivers from all over the world will come together at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL from 22 to 24 June 2022 at the former Berlin TXL Airport. New technologies for a climate-friendly world are the focus of the event co-founded by Nico Rosberg. Around 150 exhibitors from 20 countries will be showing their future products for all areas of life.
Drees & Sommer, a consultancy specialising in construction and real estate, is making this year's motto of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL #togetherwechange its programme: with the "Urban Sustainability Hub", the Stuttgart-based company is designing a large exhibition area together with 17 market-leading partner companies. The full range of solutions for sustainable urban development, real estate and climate-friendly construction of the future will be presented - to experience and touch. Because it is precisely in the construction and real estate sector that there is a need to catch up: as one of the biggest contributors to climate change, it is precisely here that a rethink must take place.
Inspiration and information can be found at the adjacent Smart City Plaza powered by Drees & Sommer and Urban Beta. Here, on 23 and 24 June, micro-sessions and compact specialist lectures will be held on the topics of Smart City and sustainable construction and operation of real estate. Interested parties will gain insights into the urban mining concept, the circular economy and the cradle to cradle principle, modular construction, smart cities and buildings of the future as well as green logistics. In addition, the Smart City Plaza will be a platform for networking and the starting point for exclusive mini tours of the Urban Sustainability Hub with insights into the green technologies and products on display. Other highlights include the GREEN AWARDS award ceremony as a kick-off event on 22 June and a climate-neutral concert on 23 June.
