The two-storey new building of the schoolhouse encloses a central courtyard on three sides, which is enclosed on its north side by the existing home building. The multi-angled figure of the new building, slightly raised from the ground, subtly follows the course of the terrain.
The old stock is integrated via fastening elements, but remains as an independent building and massive interventions in the substance are minimised. An extension of the existing roof lock by opening the roof areas in the form of large dormers is planned.
